Our client was charged with attempted murder with a firearm. He was defending himself in his own home, where he was attacked by a known assailant. The attacker had been to his home several times in the course of the evening (unwanted), with the last time ended up in a fight. Our client retreated throughout his home, finally standing his ground in his bedroom. This is a classic case of self-defense. The case should never have even been brought by the prosecutors.
