SOLD: Schilke S22C C/Bb Combo Trumpet

This is a fantastic Schilke trumpet, in excellent condition.  As I understand it, this is the same chassis as an X3.  Large bore, fixed bell.  Comes with extra set of slides to pitch in C (S22C) or Bb (X3).

I find this horn to play in either key with the same phenomenal Schilke intonation and response.  The large bore makes it very easy to blow.

Comes with the barley used Schilke soft double case, pictured. No mouthpiece.

  • $2200.  Photos show condition – please enlarge, review, and ask any and all questions.
  • $40 shipping to CONUS only (if out of CONUS, contact me BEFORE transaction to discuss shipping options and costs).
  • PayPal only, please.  Contact [email protected] to order or with inquiries. Sale “as is”, no returns.

SOLD: Schlub ratary valve Bb (in the style of a Schagrel Gansch Horn or Spyder)

This is a fantastic and unique horn.  George Schlub is a noted horn builder, recently gaining notoriety for his rotary valve horns.  This is one sick horn!!!!!!!

One of the coolest features are the valve buttons – note that they are not only gorgeous, but also are adjustable!  Unscrew them a bit, and you can move them around to fit your finger stroke.  Brilliant!

I find this horn to play well, with the short leadpipe really increasing flexibility.  With a deep cup (such as a flugel cup with a trumpet shank), it is very flugelhorn-like.  A blast to play, and a conversation piece, to be sure!

No case or mouthpiece.

  • $2500.  Photos show condition – please enlarge, review, and ask any and all questions.
  • $40 shipping to CONUS only (if out of CONUS, contact me BEFORE transaction to discuss shipping options and costs).

FOR SALE: Schilke MIIC C Trumpet

This is a fantastic Schilke C trumpet, in excellent (pristine!) condition.

This is from the 1980’s M series, which I understand was a collaboration between Schilke and Yamaha.  I have had M series Bbs and Ebs, which are easier to find, and all were great horns.

As a collector, the thrill of the hunt was finding an MIIC.  It took me 10 years, but I finally located one in Japan.  It does not disappoint.

I find this horn to play with the same phenomenal Schilke intonation and response as the regular modern lineup.  Please spare me the “curse of the yamalloy valves” questions – they are pictured, and I have never had one stick.

I have more horns than the law allows . . . this one is a player and a young trumpet student or older church player can get some great use out of this baby.

Comes with the non-Schilke case, pictured. No mouthpiece.

SOLD: Schilke MII Bb Trumpet

This is a fantastic Schilke Bb trumpet, in excellent (pristine!) condition.

This is from the 1980’s M series, which I understand was a collaboration between Schilke and Yamaha.  I have had M series Bbs and Ebs, which are easier to find, and all were great horns.

I picked this horn up last year from a fellow whose parents bought him the horn in the early 80s.  According to him, was used one half of a year, and has been in the case under the bed as his parents’ home ever since.  From the looks of it, I believe it.  It is in AWESOME shape!!!!!

I find this horn to play with the same phenomenal Schilke intonation and response as the regular modern lineup.  Please spare me the “curse of the yamalloy valves” questions – they are pictured, and I have never had one stick.

Comes with the original Schilke gladstone case, pictured. No mouthpiece.

  • $40 shipping to CONUS only (if out of CONUS, contact me BEFORE transaction to discuss shipping options and costs).

SOLD: Altieri triple trumpet bag

Altieri triple trumpet travel backpack bag case thingy.  I have had several of these; took one to Europe and back with no issues.  I use this one in backpack mode fairly often, and am not afraid to put two Monettes and a DelQuadro in it.    Large front pouch with small velcro pocket for oil/pencil, and a “mute chute” (deep narrow pocket) for 2-3 mutes.

Note: there is no shoulder strap.  Condition is “as it” – looks like there is some paint transfer from perhaps putting it on a a newly-painted shelf or bandstand.  Who knows.  It works.

$100 OBO. Comes with NO horns, mouthpieces, or other accessories.

$20 shipping to CONUS only.  PayPal only, please.  Contact [email protected] to order or with inquiries. Sale “as is”, no returns.

NOT FOR SALE – but ogling is free!

Mahillon D trumpet

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon Charlier Model Bb

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon Eb flugelhorn

Nice little Eb flugel in good shape. Probably made in the early 1960s, photos show the condition. Needs valve work, but is perfectly playable and all valves/slides move freely.  I have used it for the second movement of the Haydn and Neruda, and it would also be good for brass quintet work.

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon Bb fanfare trumpet

Mahillon Bb fanfare trumpet. Looks to have been a presentation piece, probably from 1930-40s. Plays fine, valves and slides all move. Photos show condition.

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon 3 valve short model piccolo trumpet

This is the little horn Ren Schilke called the “piccolo fulgelhorn”. Nagel and others recorded on these back in the 1960s – horn has that classic sound.

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon 3 valve long model piccolo trumpet

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon 4 valve short model piccolo trumpet

Excellent horn, was originally purchased by trumpet teacher Grier Williams. Vintage mid- to late-60s. A great piece of trumpet history!

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon 4 valve long model piccolo trumpet

This is a real piece of trumpet history. Excellent condition, even has the original 1964 bill of sale from Walter Sear (who was the exclusive importer of Mahillon trumpets to the US from Belgium).

Not for sale at this time.

Mahillon Bb trumpet

Not sure the vintage of this horn . . . scooped it up when I was collecting Mahillons from someone in Europe. Probably been played all over Europe, looking at the stickers on the case. Anyway, seems to be a standard ML bore Bb trumpet, in good owrking order.  I would say probably from the late 1960s, perhaps early 1970s (as Mahillon was still making horns in Europe then but had stopped importing to US, as I understand it).  Anyway, a little piece of trumpetdom.

Not for sale at this time.

DeNiola Puje with Dizzy-style bell Bb trumpet

Puje trumpets are known for their tuning slide on the bell tail, allowing the player to tune the whole horn.

This is, as all DeNicola-era Pujes were, a one-off. Built on a Blessing block. Photos show condition.

Not for sale at this time.
